VDMA Photovoltaic Equipment Supports solarpeq 2012

Excerpt from an article in Global Solar Technology:

The German Machinery & Plant Manufacturers Association (VDMA) runs a platform for Photovoltaic (PV) equipment which will be supporting solarpeq – International Trade Fair for Solar Equipment – taking place in Düsseldorf in October 2012. VDMA PV already supported Messe Düsseldorf in the positioning and implementation of solarpeq at its première in 2010, when it provided its expertise in the coordination of exhibition content.

Also, for 40 years now, the VDMA Glass Technology Forum has been one of the sponsoring organisations of glasstec, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass industry, which is closely linked with solarpeq and will take place simultaneously and in close proximity. Moreover, the Glass Technology Forum and VDMA PV are supporting a conference entitled ‘Solar Meets Glass’ at solarpeq 2012, where interface issues of glass and solar power will be highlighted. At this conference both partners will be contributing their expertise to the choice of subjects and content. Similar to its première in 2010, solarpeq will have a joint stand in Hall 11, managed by VDMA PV. A number of well-known major industry players have already agreed to take part, including Centrotherm Photovoltaics and Siemens.
