Die Phoenix Solar AG, ein im TecDAX notiertes, international führendes Photovoltaik-Systemhaus, hat mit der green energy slovakia, s.r.o., einem deutsch-slowakischen Investorenduo, einen Vertrag über Planung und Realisierung eines Solarparks mit einer Spitzenleistung von 2,2 Megawatt unterzeichnet. Damit setzt die Phoenix Solar AG ihr erstes Projekt als Generalunternehmer in der Slowakei um.

Für die Projektentwicklung war die green energy slovakia, s.r.o. verantwortlich. Das Phoenix Solar Team hat bereits mit der Bauvorbereitung begonnen. Eingesetzt werden über 29.000 Solarmodule von First Solar und Wechselrichter von SMA. Die Photovoltaikanlage wird rund 80 Kilometer von Bratislava auf zwei benachbarten Ackerflächen errichtet und soll noch in diesem Jahr ans Netz gehen.

Die Slowakei hat ein attraktives Einspeisegesetz, das über 15 Jahre die eingespeiste Kilowattstunde Solarstrom mit 42,5 Cent vergütet.
