Friendly neighbours: Scheuten & Rimas

Although Rimas Systems supplies module manufacturing equipment to a worldwide market, from South Africa to Canada and from Europe to China, it will always remember how it became familiar with the PV market. This was partly thanks to Scheuten Solar. Together with Shell Solar Scheuten was one of the first customers for Rimas with regard module production lines. In 2010 the warm relationship still continues. Recently yet another shipment of equipment has been installed.

Scheuten Solar is a globally operating, innovative and leading solar company that develops, produces, designs and sells PV solar modules and solutions. The PV production facility for Multisol® is located in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). This factory was opened in 2006 and has one of the most modern module production lines in Europe. Production is characterized by the high degree of flexibility and automation, whereby quality is continuously monitored and inspected in accordance with ISO 9001. The environmentally friendly production facility generates a large proportion of its energy requirement using the 250 kWp PV system on the roof.
