Enfoton Solar Increases Manufacturing Capacity to 110 MW

Enfoton Solar Ltd has increased the manufacturing capacity of its new purpose built photovoltaic panel factory at Kokkinotrimithia to 110MW from the initial 60MW with which the factory began operation a year ago. Commissioning of the new plant was completed in April 2010.

The new capacity increase comes as a result of securing increased orders due to the high demand for photovoltaic panels worldwide.

The new plant comprises a second state-of-the-art production line consisting of a new Somont Rapid 4 tabber/stringer and layup station (Top), a Reis fully automated 3-robot net soldering station, two new Meier ICOLAM laminators and a post lamination line designed by RIMAS.

Also added is a third production line for our new roof intergraded panel. This new production line was especially designed for Enfoton by RIMAS and has speeded up the production of these panels considerably.

With the added capacity Enfoton Solar is now considered as one of the large European producers of photovoltaic panels.

Enfoton Solar Ltd is the only photovoltaic panel manufacturer in Cyprus and the strong name in photovoltaic systems design and installation on the island.
