Bürkle is going to present line concepts in Valencia

Robert Bürkle GmbH will exhibit at 25th EU PVSEC from September, 6th to 9th in Valencia, Spain at hall L2/H2 booth no. D10. The specialist for coating and lamination lines will show advanced and innovative line concepts for the production of solar modules with a focus on cost reduction in the manufacturing process on a booth size of more than 100 m².

Apart from complete back ends for the manufacture of thin film modules, the product range of the line producer also comprises back ends for the manufacture of crystalline modules since the beginning of this year. After a short period of time the first order for a fully automated production line with a capacity of 100 MWp for a customer in North America can already be announced.

This year the company located in Freudenstadt would like to achieve an increase in turnover of more than 30% and especially counts on the business segment photovoltaics. The systems manufacturer has also strengthened this business unit with manpower. With Detlev Koch the company managed to gain an experienced specialist for the solar business. Since 1st June Mr. Koch manages the sector photovoltaics as managing director.

As pioneer in the development and manufacture of multi-opening lamination lines, Bürkle has taken the lead in the solar market with its brand Ypsator®. Since market launch in 2007 companies like Bosch, Day4Energy, Scheuten Solar and Jabil have ordered about 60 single-opening and multi-opening laminators as well as more than 50 coating lines.

In 2010 Bürkle will hold steady the number of employees at 480 at the sites in Freudenstadt and Mastholte. The group currently employs 700 staff members worldwide. Bürkle has been rewarded with the “TOP 100” award this year again.
